Last week, we were fortunate enough to win the Employer of the Year award — sponsored by Virgin Money — at the Scotland Food & Drink Excellence Awards 2022.

The awards ceremony took place on Thursday 8th September in Edinburgh, and needless to say it was a strange and sombre day for the nation as news broke of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

We felt, however, particularly privileged to be there among our peers in the Scottish food and drink industry at such a time, and our congratulations go to the other nominees and winners on the night.

As an employee-owned business, this award holds special significance for all partners at Aquascot. We are proud to represent the EO community, and prouder still to bring such a prestigious award to Ross-shire — particularly amidst stiff competition from the other nominees.

This achievement will give everyone at Aquascot fresh impetus as we move towards the latter part of 2022, and renewed energy for 2023 and beyond.
