Aquascot launches two new Scottish salmon products at Waitrose
Following an enforced hiatus in 2020, the Employee Ownership Association's EO Day returned this year — both a chance for Aquascot as a business to acknowledge the many benefits of being employee-owned and another golden opportunity for our partners to showcase their artistic flair and intrepid spirit.
With this year's theme — #BetterTogether — firmly in mind, Aquascot's Partnership Council put plans in place for an array of challenges and competitions, to spark the imagination and get partners thinking about a core question:
'What does Aquascot mean to you?'
Scroll to the bottom for a selection of excellent entries into this year's EO Day Photography competition — held alongside competitions for Art and Literature, and all based around that core question.

Prizegiving on EO Day and catered lunch from RedPoppy MealBoxes
Along with certificates and awards for these artistic endeavours, there were also prizes awarded on EO Day for an Aquascot-themed 'Selfie Stroll' — a specially-designed treasure hunt across a 4km radius for partners working in groups of two, featuring such catchy team names as the Salmon Snappers and the Rambling Robertsons. Needless to say, all teams performed with distinction (and we got lucky with the weather!).
EO Day at Aquascot also saw a catered lunch provided by RedPoppy Mealboxes — and it's safe to say many a happy lunch break was had.

To be able to mark this day with our fellow teammates once again was a real boost — and we look forward to more opportunities to acknowledge employee ownership and what it means to us as a business, as people and as partners.
